Day Thirty-Three

I don’t love winter but I really enjoy snow when the temperatures are very, very low and the snow appears to almost glisten atop the sidewalks and road.  It has to be very, very cold for the best lighting to happen and I find it both beautiful and captivating. I love to get outside early on those mornings, long before the hustle and bustle of the day begins, when the quiet is still there from the night.  Those early hours when most folks are just beginning to stir from sleep I’m already out and about and the silence is all mine…

“The color of springtime is in the flowers, the color of winter is in the imagination.”
Terri Guillemets

Taken with my 50mm lens (it was cold and I was too lazy to change lenses) on my Canon 6D set to Manual with a shutter speed of 1/60, Aperture f18, & ISO 100
