The very best thing about working part-time is the amount of time I’m able to spend with family and friends. The freedom to go and grab lunch in Boulder on a random Thursday with my Mom & Dad is a luxury. Just being able to spend time talking, laughing and being together is so enjoyable.
Today we dined on an amazing lunch and headed down Pearl St Mall to hit the Peppercorn. It was wicked cold today and we were frozen solid after leaving the store. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to grab a photo and I really didn’t want to leave Boulder without a pic so I had my Parents pose for a quick shot. It’s a fine photo and I would have been satisfied with posting it for today, but as we were walking back to the car we noticed feathers floating down from the branches above us. Of course we looked up, and perched directly above us was a hawk devouring his own lunch. I don’t have a telephoto lens but I zoomed in and captured today’s pic…
