Day Sixty-Three

Frozen Bubbles

After yesterday I awoke with a purpose!

My hubby was a good sport and joined me outside shortly after sunrise (it was 9 degrees, he rocks).  We still didn’t have any luck capturing what I’ve seen online, but today I laughed and he laughed and we froze together and captured what we could (that’s the first photo).  My sister and niece joined us mid-morning and I somehow convinced my 4 ½ year old niece to brave the cold and be my assistant in my quest for frozen bubbles.  She and I laughed together and tried to capture frozen bubbles and then laughed more.  She blew a big bubble and said “aunty take a picture of that one.”  So I did. The second shot is of her perfect bubble, it wasn’t frozen, it probably isn’t perfect, but her blond curls skew a part of it and we captured it while howling with laughter and so to me, it’s perfect…
