Day Sixty-Four

Day643

For me, that time after Christmas until the first 70 degree day is hands down the longest and dreariest of any time I can think of during the year. It’s not just the snow and cold, it’s that the days are short, dull and grey and the shine of the holidays has faded. I muddle through every year, but I can’t say that January or February are my best or favorite months. This year I am aspiring to find beauty in the snow and cold. This year I will strive to find and capture beautiful moments to enjoy until that first Spring Day…

Captured with my Canon 6D set to 1/10s, f18, ISO 100 using my EF 24-105 mm 1:4 L USm lens (tripod and remote clicker)

“My favorite thing about winter?  When it’s over.” unknown
