Day Sixty-Five

I was really looking forward to photographing the zoo lights display at the Denver Zoo tonight, but I woke up with a nagging sore throat that worsened as the day progressed.  I figured with temps not expected to rise out of the teens today that being out in the frigid cold tonight was a bad plan.  In lieu of the zoo I chose an overlook by our house called Davidson Mesa. Though chilly, I moved quickly and the sunset was divine…

Snapped using my Canon 6D set to Manual 1/20s, f13, ISO 200 using my Canon EF 24-105mm 1:4 L iS USM lens (tripod and remote clicker)

“Dear Winter, I’m breaking up with you.  I think it’s time I start seeing other seasons.  Summer is hotter than you…” unknown
