Day Seventy-Six

“my hubby”

You better believe I know how lucky I am…

The above shot is of my hubby who offered to accompany me this morning before the sun rose, while the temperature read a very frosty 14 degrees, and long before anyone else was out on the trail. You see he agreed to join me on my quest for today’s photo BEFORE I informed him that my intent was for a pre-dawn hike in freezing temps. He obliged, didn’t complain and even pretended to enjoy breaking in his new snow boots and snowshoes (there is no skin left on his heels). To say he kicks ass would be an understatement…

Taken with my Canon D, EF 24-105mm lens at Manual settings 1/10s, f9, ISO 400

“And then my soul saw you and it kind of went, oh there you are. I’ve been looking for you.” Unknown
