It just occurred to me that not only am I an old soul, but I might actually be an old person…
I say this because I firmly believe it’s best to be in bed before 9 pm and I’m happiest if I’m up by 5 am. I love old movies, good manners, crosswords and watching mass on Sunday mornings, and today I realized that I love birds and I can’t figure out why I’ve never been birding before. Today’s shot is my first attempt at capturing birds and I must say I’m hooked (I’m also plotting how to acquire a better telephoto lens).
Both photos were taken this morning at Barr Lake State Park with my Canon 60D, Manual Settings 1/500s, f5.6, ISO 1000 with a +1 1/3 flash exposure compensation
