Ok, so maybe I’m a wee bit early in welcoming a changing of the seasons, but both yesterday and today were over 60 degrees F here in Denver, and if that doesn’t spark an interest in a new season nothing will. Soaking up the sun and wearing a short sleeve shirt today brought a huge smile to my face, and I was even able to briefly forget that I’ve spent the greater part of winter fully germed.
With a skip in my step, I grabbed my camera and ventured to a park right here in my neighborhood. It didn’t take long before I saw multiple photo ops, but seeing the ice losing the battle on a tiny pond really grabbed my attention and I shot the water reflecting the snow free tree limbs. I love reflection photos, and on my way back to the car a melting heap of snow that had formed a puddle provided one last reflective photo op (I will mention here that I wanted to post the photo of the really big dead bull frog I found, but figured my fascination with how friggin huge it was would not be shared by most…).
