Hooray, it arrived! My brand new Canon 70-200mm L lens, bought specifically for my first paid photography job (yes, I will be getting paid to photograph people running the Bunny Bolt 10K on Easter weekend!) arrived yesterday afternoon and I was dying to get out and take it for a spin. Much to my annoyance, large amounts of sloppy, wet snow kept me indoors as I was not going to take my new baby out for the first time in inclement weather. Since I couldn’t use it to take photos, and it is soooo pretty, I figured it should be the subject of today’s pic.
For today’s pic I created an HDR photo which I snapped on my first camera (Canon 60D) using my very first lens (EFS 18-135mm) that my husband bought me in 2009. I took three exposures with the base exposure on AV set at F9.5 and ISO 800 with a 1/2 stop in between exposures. I took the three images and compressed and processed them using Photomatix HDR software.
