Moving back to Colorado was hands-down the best decision my husband and I ever made, and I’m not just saying that because I’m blessed with a chef for a Father (though that easily ranks as one of the top reasons we love being back here). Weekend afternoons spent lounging on my parents’ back porch, immersed in epic water wars with my niece make my soul happy and my heart full. I find that time slips away with easy laughter, lively conversation, and damn good eats.
It makes me want to stop time and stay in those moments because life feels so good. It’s during those moments that I feel the need to tell my family “thank you”. Thank you for loving me “as is” and thank you God I decided that I deserved a life lived clean and sober…
“Family. We may not have it all together, but together we have it all…” unknown
